At Call 24-7, our engineers have previous experience at senior level with major insurers, including development of the first repairer panel dedicated to motorcycle repairs. We employ a team of qualified and experienced motor insurance engineers,
principally utilising Audatex to prepare accurate estimates through our panel of
approved repairers.
Our approved repairer network consists of circa 170 garages providing a comprehensive national coverage accommodating HGVs, LCVs, private motor cars and motorcycles. The nearest approved repairer will collect the damaged vehicle from the incident location and recover it to his repair facility. When required we also have specialised recovery vehicles that operate 24 hours, 365 days per year.
Details of the vehicle damage and digital photographs are sent electronically by the repairer to Call 24-7 with, typically, an Audatex estimate thereby reducing timescales and improving efficiency. Repair costs are accurately estimated and controlled by our in-house engineering department. Our engineers are in constant contact with the repairer to ensure that vehicle down time is closely managed.
Our innovative approach to the repair process improves customer service, efficiency for the repairer and provides an audit trail. Wherever possible our engineers insist that panels and plastic components are repaired rather than replaced with resultant cost savings. Non-OE parts are also utilised as instructed by various insurer partners.
Management Information reports will be provided to identify savings achieved against original garage estimates thus demonstrating control of claims leakage common to this area. Repairs are authorised the same day as images of damage are received, subject to agreement on costs.
ClaimWatch is an online job tracking system which the bodyshop updates as vehicles move through the repair process. The system requires minimum input and jobs can be moved forward to the next repair stage by a single click in the status of repair column. This automatically generates and updates both customer and work provider webpages, and customers can also receive text messages on their mobile phones.
The bodyshop can use the on-screen repairs list as a 'work in progress' list and is therefore able to monitor workflow more efficiently. Everyone is kept informed and customer care levels are greatly enhanced.
